Board of Home Mission Grant Proposal Survey

For nearly four years, our congregation has been in talks with our church body's Board of Home Missions (BHM). The BHM oversees our synod's efforts to plant new churches throughout North America and give varieties of assistance to mission-minded congregations across North America.

At the Board of Home Missions Executive Meeting on March 17, our congregation's application for "mission status" was approved: we are officially an "unsubsidized mission church" under the WELS Board of Home Missions! Our status as an "unsubsidized mission church" will last for three years until June 30, 2029. This means that, for three years, our church will be the recipients of a ton of support from our church body - and eligible for grants exclusively available to mission churches.

As we assess ministry opportunities and current needs, we want to hear from you. Take a minute to fill out this form - and share your thoughts on how we might benefit from these BHM grants.
