The Gospel Unquarantined

As Christians, we have an amazingly unique perspective on the current COVID-19 situation. Yes, we are cautious, but we don’t need to be afraid. That’s right: we don’t need to be afraid. Because our gracious God isn’t dispassionately detached from what’s going on. He is here, and he’s at work in this. We know that God can work tremendous good from tremendously bad situations. God will. God has. Case and point, the cross.

To save a world from sin, suffering, and death, our God took on our sin, he suffered, and died - to save the world! Our God and Savior has already faced the greatest adversaries that we will ever face, he’s fought them, and won! He died and rose from the dead! This is good news for a world drowning in bad news.

The COVID-19 season may quarantine you, but it can’t quarantine the gospel.

Songs of Unbound Joy for a quarantined world

Since March, Our Shepherd has been streaming our worship services for those to watch and enjoy from the comforts of their own home. While we haven’t been able to physically meet together, we have still been able to worship together - and sing songs of God’s deliverance, his abiding presence, his providence, protection, and his undying love.
